Telstra Brand released an uplifted brand guideline, requiring all of Telstra Digital to follow suit, this included 100’s of illustrations, pictos and icons. I worked with a small team of two, plus a lead to workshop design leads and stakeholders on the new uplifted look of the legacy illustrations before commencing the rollout. With direction preferences in, I coloured up a number of illustrations for proof of concept and was given the green light to proceed. Anticipating the need for support to re-colour all illustrations within a tight timeframe from the broader design team, I whipped up a comprehensive guideline, whilst re-colouring and re-creating 1,00’s of illustrations, working systematically with a team of developers to update every page individually across all Telstra Digital platforms. The guideline was presented to brand and the broader design team, as well as external agencies for ongoing work and was well received. As part of the ask I also ran hands-on workshops to train the Telstra Illustration Guild and broader design team on how to uplift illustrations and shadowed many designers. Following that, I prepped all pictos for the Telstra Digital Able Design System in the new colourway.
